Results of Round 1:

We would like to thank all of those who sang for us on June 26th and 27th.  It was a thrill to hear you all and to hear such great talent in Kamloops.  Below is the list of the top 30 singers who are scheduled to sing on Canada Day in Riverside Park.  The location of the Preliminaries is at the BC Living Arts Booth which is at the corner entrance nearest the Interior Savings Centre/Scoops Ice Cream.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in at the table in our booth and discuss your selections with the host which again need to be in either CD or MP3/iPod format.  You need to have backing tracks for all of your songs for the day - you are not allowed to sing acapella for Canada Day.  You can find various backing tracks in various keys on many different websites including itunes which will require payment.... do not search for free tracks.

If your name is not on the list below, it may be for various reasons but some of the most prominent reasons were: not ready to sing in public, not prepared, needs more time to develop, repertoire, presentation.  We urge you all to continue what you love and if possible to further any training available - education is crucial.  Thank you

The Singers chosen for the Preliminaries are:
